(More customer reviews)I bought several other ortho books and all were a waste of money except this gem. As a practicing general dentist for 17 years I want to expand my services to include Ortho. In addition to attending a seminar series I wanted to read a great book for a foundation. This book is it!! It has everything from diagnosis, reading cephs, physiology of tooth movement, functional appliances, twin block theory and applications, straight wire, it even has computer applications and other cutting edge information and research. Yes, the 1000 pages are needed since this is a huge subject but I believe when I go to my practical course, whatever it may be, I will be very well prepared to learn all I can and then proceed to offer a quality service to my patient base.
