(More customer reviews)"The Going Down Guide" is your basic "Everything you wanted to know ..." guide to oral sex, complete with details (and illustrations) on recommended positions (including "Chairman of the Board"), finding your partner's erogenous zones, techniques (licking, sucking, teasing, hot/cold, etc.), safe sex concerns (including a useful guide on using lubricants and dental dams), and how to gauge how you are doing (For example, if you partner changes the TV channel while you are performing oral sex, you're not doing so good.) What I found interesting were the sections where the authors report the results of their surveys of what men most often say women do wrong, and vice versa. The book also gets into (pardon the pun) analingus, as well as semi-public sex, sub/dom play and multiple orgasms. I needed a cigarette by the time I was finished with the book, and I don't even smoke!
Nice effort, in a format that is practical and useful to its intended readers.

(More customer reviews)This book reminds me of a Cosmo article with illustrations. For example, page 70 is nothing more than a brief explanation of caressing, use of feathers, silk and stroking. The book is only 160 pages and much of that is pictures. That leaves very little room for actual instuction.
Lacking is a detailed explanation of the orgasm and the anal component of the female orgasm. Anal sex receives only a few comments on pages, 122-125. I was fairly disappointed in the lack of information in this book.

For a better explanation of orgasm, I recommend "The Technology of Orgasm" by Maines and "Anal Sex for Couples" by Strong.

Instead, it simply offers scenarios to give some variety in the where and when. It suggests different locations where you can surprise your lover with a BJ. Next time he wakes up with a woodie, give him the BJ he's dying for. Or join him in the shower and give him one. This is not technique, it is scenario.
You aren't really learning how to give unforgettable oral, although I suppose the argument could be made that any time a woman actually gives a guy a BJ in all of the 24/7 situations he would want them is pretty much a miracle that he won't forget any time soon. And yes, ladies, guys want one 24/7.
If that's all you're looking for, this book contains lots of alternative ways to enjoy offering him oral sex. But you'll learn absolutely nothing new as far as technique goes.
If you are truly looking for technique, [...] offers substantial new insight that can help in your oral sex techniques. That book focuses on the use of your hands and tongue and discusses specific areas that benefit from stimulation, to allow you to give him oral sex that he'll truly never forget. It details methods that most women do not intuitively know, including the actual techniques that turn guys on.
I'm putting a similar review on the partner book for this (we got them both, together with "Red Hot Touch"), because the same criticisms apply. Sorry Sonia, but both are books are certainly forgetful.
