(More customer reviews)"The Going Down Guide" is your basic "Everything you wanted to know ..." guide to oral sex, complete with details (and illustrations) on recommended positions (including "Chairman of the Board"), finding your partner's erogenous zones, techniques (licking, sucking, teasing, hot/cold, etc.), safe sex concerns (including a useful guide on using lubricants and dental dams), and how to gauge how you are doing (For example, if you partner changes the TV channel while you are performing oral sex, you're not doing so good.) What I found interesting were the sections where the authors report the results of their surveys of what men most often say women do wrong, and vice versa. The book also gets into (pardon the pun) analingus, as well as semi-public sex, sub/dom play and multiple orgasms. I needed a cigarette by the time I was finished with the book, and I don't even smoke!
Nice effort, in a format that is practical and useful to its intended readers.

The Guitar Style of Mark Knopfler (Guitar Signature Licks) Review

(More customer reviews)I've only spent about 6 hours with this book and CD, but I know I'm going to get TOP value for my money. I would actually call myself a "beginner" - I started playing accoustic less than 4 years ago, but have had no formal training at all - picking up bits and pieces as I go along - and time for practising is always too little. I decided to buy an electric guitar, and this is the first time I'm really utilising it - i.e. playing something that doesn't belong on the old accoustic. I'm a great fan of Mark Knopfler's music, and I cannot describe the feeling of playing the intro and first verse of Sultans of Swing together with the great man after about 4 hours of practising! I have only paged through the rest of the book, but from what I've seen and heard, this book and CD is spot-on. The CD itself, with "backtrack" on one channel and guitar on the other (which makes it easy to separate), as well as slowed down tracks, is brilliant! Yes, the songs are very complicated, and I know this book is going to keep me practicing for years to come, but it will be worth it!

(More customer reviews)Ok the Technis Imperative is a good read. It's not a Grant Morrison story, but it is nevertheless a good read. The dialogues between the Titans and the JLA are great, and really bring out the fact that although both teams exist for the the benfit of the world, the Titans are more of a family type atmosphere. What is also great is that during the big fight scene Batman and Nightwing are having an argument about who is right in the middle of a battle. During the entire story neither throws a punch. You can also see just how much the mentors of the Titans care for their onetime sidekicks, and how grown up those same sidekicks have become. Overall a great story. Definitely worth your time and money.

Applied Multivariate Techniques Review

(More customer reviews)This book is provides a gentle introduction to the field of Multivariate analysis. The author provides a ground up introduction to each of the topic. Each chapter starts off with a relatively simple example to introduce the topic.
However, there are not many solved examples,which i feel is the basic shortcoming of this book. I would advice on obtaining a second book on this topic for additional examples and explanations.
