I've been recording and mixing live CDs for several years and I picked up a few pointers from this book. A lot of it comes across as common sense and I ended up skimming through the book to parts I found interesting.
It all depends on where you are on the live recording journey and what kind of advice you are looking for. If you're considering getting into this gig or you're still pretty new, this book should be a nice first-hand experience testimonial to some of the challenges involved in live recording. If you have several years experience under your belt, you'll be asking yourself why you didn't write this book.
