(More customer reviews)Picked these phones up at a discount store for around $13 and can't believe the sound. Like most headphones, it takes some time to get used to the environment each time you put them on. I had very similar Sony phones (MDR-V150) and sold them because they were uncomfortable and the sound was muffled and unimpressive. The Pannys are very comfortable with extremely soft pads. Sound is dynamic with tight bass and crisp highs. Vocals sound accurate. I've compared these to my Pioneer phones (EQ SE-MJ21) which have an MSRP of $60. The Pannys are way more comfortable. The Pioneers sound ever so slightly better. For the difference in price, the Pannys are a no-brainer.
