(More customer reviews)Every young excavator operator should have this book. Is very well laid out, assumes you know the fundamentals and helps you to improve skills and understand methods. This book will help the experienced operator with his creativity and provide a few new ideas.
Only flaw is that some of the techniques are not common to all lines of work as the author indicates. An example of this is the trenching section. The author indicates in almost all cases, the excavator will never dig the trench and lay pipe at the same time. While this may be true for larger concrete pipe in deep trenches, with smaller pipe this is almost never the case.
